Minnesota’s new climate change action plan is calling for major changes to the state’s approach to energy, farming, and transportation. Public comment is being taken on the plan until next Friday. The plan was issued in February and says Minnesota is experiencing significant climate changes, with more moisture and warmer temperatures leading to harm to human health and wildlife as well as financial costs.
