(Kingston Township, MN) — A Meeker County hunter is in the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in Kingston Township. Police say the 38-year-old victim shot himself in the leg while getting into a tree stand near the 72-thousand block of County Highway. He was taken to the hospital with “serious injuries” and his condition is unknown at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
