Drawing one of her largest crowds yet presidential hopeful Senator Elizabeth Warren attracted thousands of energized supporters to her town hall meeting at Macalester College Monday night. Organizers had to move the event outside to accommodate the large crowd. Carleton College political analyst Steven Schier on why Warren is campaigning on rival Amy Klobuchar’s home turf:
“The Warren campaign is betting that Amy Klobuchar may fade before the Minnesota primary and that this primary will be a big opportunity for Warren, and that’s why she’s here.”
Warren focused heavily on the economy, taxes, college debt, and health care.
