On Thursday (July 4), the Red, Hot & Boom 4th of July celebration will be held at Vetter Stone Amphitheater in Riverfront Park, 310 West Rock Street, and can be viewed from both sides of the river. Gates open at 6 p.m. This event is no cost and open to the public. Spectators can watch the fireworks from the bridge, which overlooks the river. The bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
“Red Hot & Boom!” begins at 7 p.m. and features live music by Erik Koskinen and City Mouse. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. Featured will be a Color Guard flag presentation, the National Anthem and fireworks choreographed to music.
